Henry S. Fisher, a graduate of Hackensack High School, being wounded in battle, but the article does not tell how or what the wounds are.
The Evening Record on May 18, 1918 article headline says it all:
HACKENSACK BOYS MEET IN HOSPITAL NEAR FRENCH FIRING LINE
This article tells us Henry S. Fisher had been gassed and the other Hackensack boy is Charles Butler who was operated on for appendicitis.
